Usually. Every once in a while, when it’s really obvious I’m basing a character of someone’s likeness, I’ll use that person’s middle name as the character’s first. Otherwise, it’s the first name I see.

I did this set of interstitials while I was still injured, I mean literally a week off of crutches from a torn Achilles at the Gastrocnemius junction. So strange, after a life time of work and the first time I show myself to the world I’m not my best self?

But I’m gonna start doing it anyway. I found a pretty nifty site for writing prompts, and I’m going to try to turn one into a story every day.
I’m not trying to write something beautiful, or tell a compelling story or anything like that by doing this. My ability to write is like a muscle I never work or flex, and it grows weaker and weaker because of it. This is one of my more clearly recognized natural talents, and since I’m not positive on what the rest are, I might as well develop what I have.
So I’m going to vomit words into a post on Tumblr in the form of a story or narrative, click that little green checkmark, and move on with my day. If you like any of them, let me know! Maybe I’ll work on it and make it into something to be proud of.
